Sensex ends flat after negative start

MUMBAI: Investors on Dalal Street initially reacted negatively to RBI’s policy decision on Friday with no cut in interest rates despite slowing economic growth, but recovered during the later part of the session to close flat.

At close, the sensex was down 57 points at 81,709 points while Bankex closed 54 points up at 60,996 points. FPIs were net sellers during the day.
