MUMBAI: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Monday questioned the former Tata Finance Managing Director Dilip Pendse on alleged insider trading into the finance company''s scrip.
Senior officials probed Pendse for more than two hours in the afternoon, Sebi sources said and declined to dwell on the current probe.
The market regulator is already conducting investigations into charges of insider trading involving another TFL Director J E Talaulikar.

Last week, following reference to circular trading in the A F Ferguson''s report on TFL, Sebi launched a fresh probe in the books of the beleagured company.
"We are still investigating the issue and have not arrived at any conclusions," they said.
The Department of Company Affairs has already indicated that it may launch inspection of TFL''s books of accounts to determine whether any financial irregularities had taken place.
