Sebi cracks whip, bans 13 entities
Mumbai: Sebi has banned 13 entities from the market for between one and three years, and also put a combined monetary penalty of nearly Rs 1.1 crore for front running trades of three large entities. In Dec 2024, six entities, related to these 13 had settled their case with Sebi after paying nearly Rs 5.5 crore.

The question is will these entities pay up or dows sebi has the legal machinery to recover this amount from them. Also banning them serves no purpose they will simply continue trading via proxy accounts.Read allPost comment
