SAIL Covid unit in Durgapur

Fulfilling its commitment to set up jumbo Covid care facilities equipped with gaseous oxygen, SAIL’s second Covid Care Hospital with 200 beds is set up at Durgapur Steel Plant. Minister of petroleum and natural gas and steel Dharmendra Pradhan dedicated this 200-bed Covid Care Hospital to the nation on Monday in an online programme. Pradhan applauded the commitment of SAIL collective on acting very swiftly and setting up the second Covid care unit within a short time.

Bosch healthcare aid: Bosch India handed over the medical aid received from its parent company Robert Bosch GmbH to NITI Aayog as part of its initiative to combat the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India. The aid shipment includes 92 ventilators and 438 oxygen concentrators, 10 oxygen cylinders and other medical supplies such as face masks and glass cannula from major manufacturers.

has registered a 58% jump in net profit to Rs 19.4 crore in the fourth quarter of this fiscal. The revenue for the quarter stood at RS 310 crore. Commenting on the results, Vinod Kumar Gupta, MD, Dollar Industries, said, “I am happy that the company achieved 29% growth this quarter whereas on a fiscal basis the company grew by 7% even though the company was not operational for 45 days in the year due to lockdown.”
