RBI eyes resuming co-op bank licences
MUMBAI: The RBI on Tuesday proposed resuming issuance of licences for urban cooperative banks (UCBs), various regulatory requirements, Since 2004, licencing for UCBs has been paused by RBI after it found that several of the newly licensed ones became financially unsound within a short period.
