Now, get 22 KT gold rates by SMS

MUMBAI: People planning to buy gold jewellery can now instantly get the latest 22 KT (carat) gold rate for Hallmarked ornaments by just sending an SMS.
To avail the new service, launched by All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federations (GJF), buyers need to send an SMS 'Goldrate' to 575758.
GJF Chairman C Vinod Hayagriv said the initiative would help in bringing transparency in the jewellery trade.
Though the rate would be recommendatory in nature, it would make buying jewellery easier than ever before, he said.
The GJF is a national trade body for the promotion of gems and jewellery trade in the country.
