NOVUS Global X Impact Summit to bring world leaders together for '#WeThePlanet'
NEW DELHI: Impact entrepreneur, Kunal Sood is on a mission to make the impossible possible. As the founder of X Fellows,
Sood, who began his career in the fashion and wellness industry in New York City two decades ago after graduating from Parsons School of Design, worked in the family business for several years, before dedicating his life’s purpose towards high impact entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, he has developed a life-long love for learning earning him five graduate degrees that include an MA From CIIS, MSc from UCSF, MBA from Kellogg, and MAPP/MPhil from the University of Pennsylvania an Ivy League university in the United States.
Today, Sood is an Innovation Fellow at Columbia Business School mentoring MBA students as well as serving as a judge for their Summer Startup Grant Competition. He is also a TED Resident and Tribeca Disruptor Fellow, where he is building the network of networks: X Fellows that he describes as a league of extraordinary citizens that collectively form a super organism that will allow humanity to unlock its unlimited potential to stay united, strong and resilient in uncertain times. Sood serves as a Global Ambassador to Singularity University, OpenEXO and the Nonviolence Project.
NOVUS Global X Impact: The Decade of Transformation
NOVUS was founded by Sood as part of his capstone at the University of Pennsylvania as an exponential organization using the science of Positive Psychology, where technology meets humanity to transform the world by harnessing the forces of science, innovation and technology for good. The flagship summit serves as an intergenerational platform to inspire all generations to unite in action for positive humanitarian impact and find ways to support the United Nations in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by sharing stories of transformational leadership in a highly curated and immersive environment. Launched in 2016 at the United Nations General Assembly Hall with many iconic leaders over the past four years that include industry titans including Aliko Dangote, Sunil Mittal, Marc Benioff, Reid Hoffman, Peter Diamandis, and Anousheh Ansari as well as leadership from within the UN such as the Deputy Secretary General, H.E. Amina Mohammed, former Presidents of the UN General Assembly H.E. Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces, H.E. Miroslav Lajcak, and H.E. Peter Thomson, and Heads of State such as President Thomas Remengesau Jr. and President Kersti Kaljulaid.
