Not giving you any headline: RBI Governor Das
MUMBAI: RBI governor kept everyone guessing on whether he has received any indication from govt on the continuation of his term beyond Dec 10. "I am not giving you any headline, it is better we stick to the monetary policy," the governor said.
Das, whose term ends on Dec 10, is already the longest serving governor in over 60 years after nearly six years in office. Govt has not finalised the appointment, which is less than a week away.
