Murali Ramaswami appointed Vijaya Bank ED

CHENNAI: Public sector lender Vijaya Bank on Tuesday named Murali Ramaswami as its executive director, effective from February 19.
In a filing to the BSE, the bank said, "Ramaswami joined Vijaya Bank as manager in 1989 and has headed various branches and regions across India. Prior to his elevation as executive director, he was general manager credit as well as the chief financial officer of the bank."
Ramaswami is a qualified cost accountant with an MBA in finance.
