The US on Monday said further liberalisation of technology trade was in the offing with the administration planning to allow licence-free trade in dual-use products.

NEW DELHI: The US on Monday said further liberalisation of technology trade was in the offing with the administration planning to allow licence-free trade in dual-use products.
US commerce secretary Gary Locke said commerce department and other agencies were involved in liberalisation of rules.
This marks a further shift in the US stance which first allowed trade, then followed it up by removing agencies such as ISRO and DRDO from the restricted entities list.
