Mittal conferred Degree of Doctor of Science

NEW DELHI: One of India’s most prestigious education institutions, the IIT — Kharagpur has conferred the Degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) on Sunil Bharti Mittal, chairman and group CEO, Bharti Enterprises. The Degree was awarded to Mittal by PM Manmohan Singh on the 57th Convocation of IIT — Kharagpur for his outstanding contribution to nation building as an entrepreneur.
Mittal said, “I am honoured to receive this recognition from one of the most respected education institutions in India that has contributed to the nation’s development through excellence in technical education and research.”
