Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Tuesday revealed that cumulative sales of its compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle)
Vitara Brezza has crossed the four lakh units sales milestone in three years.
The popular wagon was launched in the year 2019 and has grown at an average of seven per cent with monthly average sales of 14,675 units. It also commands 44.1 per cent market share in the compact SUV segment, claims the carmaker.
"The dual-tone colour option in Vitara Brezza is highly appreciated by its customers.The benchmark success of Vitara Brezza with over 4 lakh customers in less than three years is a testimony of the customers’ increasing preference towards the refreshed design and innovative features of the compact SUV," said R S Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales)

Hinting interest of Indian buyers towards automatic variants, MSI has revealed that out of the total sales of the model so far, the automatic gear shift (AGS) variant has accounted for 20 per cent after its introduction in May 2018.
In its segment, Vitara Brezza rivals the likes of Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the newly launched Mahindra XUV300. To grab a share, even Hyundai is bringing a compact SUV in the coming months!
