CHENNAI: A recent LinkedIn

survey

has found that more than 75% of Indian professionals are considering a job change, and what is fuelling this “revenge job hunt” (much like the concept of

Professionals with a few years of experience in technologies like AI, ML, Cloud, AR and VR are getting absorbed at salary hikes as high as 100%.

Arjun Nair, co-founder, Great Learning, says overall, the Indian digital ecosystem is exciting now. “There is venture capital money coming in now. We’ve seen about 10-20 unicorns. It’s proven now that work from home is, well, working,” he says.

“People have understood that it is possible to get jobs from around the world and India. You can sit out of any city and get a job from anywhere and the opportunities are just growing,” says Nair, adding that the edtech enterprise is witnessing a beeline of professionals from other industries including manufacturing, entertainment, pharma and telecom who are looking to upskill.
