Lakshmi Vilas Bank

Limited on Thursday said it has raised Rs 167.8 crore through a qualified institutional placement (

QIP

).

The QIP, which is the first since the bank's inception in 1926, priced the equity shares at Rs 140, including a premium of Rs 130 per equity share. The issue opened on December 28, 2016 and was closed on December 31, 2016.

Centrum Capital Ltd acted as sole book running lead manager to the QIP and Khaitan and Co the legal advisor.

Lakshmi Vilas Bank closed marginally down at Rs 138.25 on the BSE on Thursday.
