Jet Airways' deputy CEO & CFO Amit Agarwal quits

NEW DELHI: The top management of Jet Airways has now started leaving the grounded airline. Jet’s deputy chief

executive officer

and

chief financial officer

(CFO) Amit Agarwal has resigned, the airline said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

“We wish to inform that Amit Agarwal, the deputy CEO and CFO of the company, has resigned from service due to personal reasons, with effect from May 13,” Jet said. The airline had been reducing operations from the start of this year and finally

suspended operations

on April 17 after completely running out of cash.

Several of Jet’s board members have also quit in recent weeks.
