Japanese brand Nitori enters India

Japanese furniture and home furnishing retailer, Nitori, has opened its first Indian store in Mumbai's R City Mall. This launch is part of Nitori's global expansion plan, aiming for 3,000 stores worldwide by 2032, with 280 of those planned for India. The store offers a wide selection of premium home furnishing products.

MUMBAI: Nitori, the Japanese furniture and home furnishing brand made its India foray with the launch of its first store in Mumbai’s R City Mall.
The brand’s debut in India is part of its global expansion strategy of operating 3,000 stores globally by 2032.
India is an important market, executives at Nitori said. It plans to open 280 stores in the market by 2032.
The store will feature an assortment of premium home furnishing items across categories.
