CHENNAI: IndusInd Bank has tied up with
MobiKwik to launch a cobranded
wallet
‘IndusInd Mobikwik’ that allows bank customers to pay MobiKwik merchants using a direct debit feature.
Mobikwik said it has more than two million merchants in its network and the 'direct debit feature" will allow IndusInd Bank account holders to link their accounts and pay via the co-branded app, instead of loading/opening a Mobikwik prepaid wallet.
"Going forward, under this partnership, these common customers will also get the benefit of UPI for purchases at MobiKwik merchants and P2P transfers," said Ritesh Raj Saxena, head–savings, digital & payments business, IndusInd Bank.
"Our partnership with IndusInd Bank is an important milestone in our nation's journey towards becoming a ‘digital payments economy’. Besides this retail endeavor, we will be jointly offering
payment
solutions to corporate -- employee reimbursements," said Upasana Taku, co-founder, MobiKwik.
