Indiatimes ties up with Shekhar Kapur's Paani

NEW DELHI: Indiatimes will tie-up with Shekhar Kapur-Deepak Chopra combine for the blockbuster movie Paani.

In tying up with </span><span style="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Paani</span><span style="" font-size:=""> we take another step in our global endeavour to reach out and entertain as a medium of mass exposure,’’ says Mahendra Swarup, CEO, Times Internet Ltd.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Paani</span><span style="" font-size:=""> will be presented by Intent, a company floated by Kapur and Chopra. The film will be entirely shot in India. The movie is set in an Indian metro in 2035 and is a love story amid acute water scarcity caused by global warming. </span><br /><br /><span style="" font-size:="">The film is penned by Kapur, co-written by Andrew Niccol (</span><span style="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">The Trueman Show</span><span style="" font-size:="">), visual effects by Cinesite (Harry Potter series) and music by AR Rahman.</span></div> </div>
