Indian Bank ties up with IIT Madras to conduct hackathon

CHENNAI: Public sector Indian Bank will conduct a hackathon on cyber security and fintech in association with IIT Madras in April this year.

The hackathon will focus on key issues like endpoint security and fraud prevention in the fintech and advanced fraud detection mechanism in cyber security domains.

This exclusive hackathon is open to students and scholars of IIT Madras, the bank said in a statement. Indian Bank signed an MoU with IIT Madras on Tuesday for the purpose.

The proposed hackathon would be part of a hackathon series by public sector banks in compliance with an IBA advisory to conduct such programmes in association with IITs, universities and science institutions, it added.
