How to Withdraw Cash From SBI ATM: Limit and Step-by-Step Guide

To avoid fraudulent ATM transactions, the country's top lender State Bank of India (SBI) started a one-time password (OTP) based cash withdrawal facility at ATMs.

Registered Mobile Number

To avail this facility, SBI customers need to carry their mobile to the ATMs as the OTP to withdraw cash is sent on their mobile number registered with the bank.

Cash Limit

SBI customers can use this facility to withdraw cash amount of Rs 10,000 and above from its ATMs by entering an OTP sent on their registered mobile number, along with their debit card PIN each time.

Daily Cash Limit

Cash withdrawal is the most popular service on SBI ATMs which enables customers to withdraw up to a daily limit of Rs. 40,000 (limit on Classic Debit Card. Higher value cards permit daily withdrawal limits of up to Rs 1 lakh per day).

How to Withdraw Money from an ATM

Insert your ATM card in the respective slot.

Choose your preferred language using the keypad.

Enter your PIN (4-digit number).

Choose the transaction type as ‘Cash Withdrawal’.

Select your account type.

Step 6

Key in the amount required to be withdrawn.

Collect the cash from the dispenser.

Take a receipt of the transaction from the receipt printer.
