Govt plans sector-specific stimulus

CHENNAI: In addition to the two stimulus packages announced by Centre recently, the government is considering to announce sector specific stimulus packages by another four to six weeks, minister of state for industries Ashwani Kumar said.
"This would focus not only to export oriented industries but also in the sectors where larger number of people are employed", he said.Stating that the government's main focus was to ensure job security, he said that the idea of stimulus package was to kickstart those sectors which would give maximum employment.
