Going global: Reliance's Asteria Aerospace ties up with Drone Destination to grow UAV business abroad

NEW DELHI: Reliance Group's drone company -- Asteria Aerospace Ltd (AAL) -- has tied up with Drone Destination sign an MOU to develop international drone sales and services business. Drone Destination and Asteria, a Jio Platforms subsidiary, have signed an MoU "to develop business opportunities for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) related services and sales in international markets, specifically in the sector of oil and gas, telecom/ transmission towers, agriculture, mining, security and surveillance," a statement by Drone Destination said.


Under the MOU, Drone Destination will utilise its fleet of drones and pilots to execute global drone services projects, and utilise AAL’s tech platform for data processing, analytics and visualization.
