NEW DELHI: India''s leading human resources company, EmmayHR, on Thursday announced that it is entering the staffing business with an aim to strengthen its position in the industry.
The staffing business will be headed by associate director Rohit Ramani, and the company plans to grow this business to 2,500 associates in the next one year.
EmmayHR will be concentrating on companies in the IT, IT-enabled services, FMCG, manufacturing, biotechnology, automobile, BPO, telecom and pharmaceutical sectors for their staffing requirements.
It plans to provide staffing solutions in the sales and marketing, finance, administration, technical and customer support divisions of their existing and potential clients.
EmmayHR CEO Monisha Advani said, "Our entry into the staffing business is a forward integration. This will help create and sustain a support mechanism for our clients and help them focus on their core areas and increase productivity."
Staffing in India, it said, is set to grow and touch 10 million jobs, with most of the growth being fuelled by domestic corporations.
In the business of staffing, a corporate only has to decide on its manpower strategy and convey the same to the solutions provider, who would then recruit or source the employees for the company along with taking on most of the HR administration jobs. The global staffing market is estimated at $140 billion per annum in revenue.
