DGCA fines Air India, 2 officials Rs 99 lakh
DGCA has slapped a fine of Rs 99 lakh on Air India and two of its senior officials for a rostering lapse that paired a trainee pilot with a non-training captain for operating an international flight this July. The regulator has also suspended post holder approval of Air India director (training) for six months. TOI had broken the story of this lapse on July 19.
