NEW DELHI: DBS Bank India has announced the appointment of Rajat Verma as managing director and head of institutional banking for India. This move comes as the current head of institutional banking, Niraj Mittal, transitions to his new role as country head of DBS Bank in Australia.
In his new role, Rajat will lead the expansion of DBS Bank's institutional banking franchise in India, taking advantage of the bank's significantly expanded footprint, which spans over 350 locations with more than 530 branches. This strategic appointment reinforces DBS Bank India's commitment to excellence in its institutional banking business and further strengthens its leadership team.
