Dating app QuackQuack sees rise in consumer base

CHENNAI: The

New Year

seems to have seen more people turning to online dating. And many of them are from tier-2 cities.

QuackQuack

, a desi dating platform for Indian singles, has said it is seeing a 16% rise in

consumer base

when compared to the previous year. The

dating app

touched 11 million users in December 2020.

There has been a 16% increase in female users viewing male profiles and a 20% increase in female users expressing interest in male profiles as compared to the previous year. There has also been a 10% increase in chats and messages exchanged between users.

Apart from the metros, the dating app is seein growth in tier-2 cities like Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Goa, Surat, Jammu and Nagpur.

To celebrate the New Year, QuackQuack is also introducing a new feature on their platform called ‘Find My Crush’. Under the new feature, the user can enter their crush’s mobile number and if the other person also does the same using the Find My Crush feature, the app will send a crush notification to both the users.

“We are excited to enter this New Year with positivity both in terms of business and the Covid-19 vaccine. The user engagement on the platform has seen a pleasant rise and to keep engaging them seamlessly we are introducing the much awaited Find My Crush feature on the app,” said Ravi Mittal, founder of QuackQuack.
