Dating app introduces vaccination feature

QuackQuack has come up with a new

vaccination

feature.

The new feature will help display the vaccination status of the profiles and will play a major role in profile selection. It will also encourage the unvaccinated users to register for a jab.

The vaccination feature was created as about 84% of

QuackQuack

users requested an option to have transparency on the vaccination status. Interestingly, 80% of them will refuse to go on a date with someone who is not vaccinated. The majority of the respondents are women with 50% votes and they would even decline the profile of their liking based on the vaccination status. On the other hand, 30% men will be speculative about dating a non-vaccinated user, they would like to give a second chance to the profiles for which they have a liking.

“Reaching 13 million users is something that we can be proud of. To make the achievement sweeter, we decided to introduce the highly awaited vaccination feature on our app and no wonder from the day of induction it has started affecting the selection and rejection of profiles. I guess we are onto an interesting era of online dating,” says Ravi Mittal, founder & CEO of QuackQuack.

The dating app has been witnessing a 12% hike in user profile liking since the lockdown in 2021. QuackQuack added its last million users in 90 days, the result of a major inflow of users (70%) from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The average age of a male user is 26 years whereas for a female user it is 25 years. Only 5% of users are from the 18-20 years age bracket.
