BANGALORE: Britannia Industries' net profit rose 5.34% to Rs 56.96 crore for the third quarter ended December 31. In the same period last fiscal, the company had a profit of Rs 54.07 crore.
The Bangalore-headquartered biscuit and dairy product maker's net sales rose to Rs 1,467.58 crore, from Rs 1,249.11 crore, a growth of 17.5%.
"Our growth momentum is solid and we continue to invest in our brands and infrastructure to drive profitable growth," said Vinita Bali, MD, Britannia Industries, in a statement.
Shares of the company on Monday closed at Rs 465 on the
BSE, up 0.03% from its previous close of Rs 464.85.
