NEW DELHI: The private and public banks in India will remain closed for up to 17 days across the country in the month of November 2021. As per the holiday rules set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the banks in India are closed on festivals, the second Saturday, the fourth Saturday, and all Sundays.
Some of the popular festivals falling in the month of November 2021 include - Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Duj, Chhath Puja, among others. Some of these holidays are regional, hence, banks in only those regions will be closed for the festive occasion. Bank users are advised to check the Bank Holiday List November 2021 to plan their banking requirements accordingly:
