NEW DELHI: The private and public banks in India will remain closed for up to 17 days across the country in the month of November 2021. As per the holiday rules set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the banks in India are closed on festivals, the second Saturday, the fourth Saturday, and all Sundays.

Some of the popular festivals falling in the month of November 2021 include - Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Duj, Chhath Puja, among others. Some of these holidays are regional, hence, banks in only those regions will be closed for the festive occasion. Bank users are advised to check the Bank Holiday List November 2021 to plan their banking requirements accordingly:

November 1, 2021 Kannada Rajyostsava/Kut	Banks in Karnataka and Manipur will be closed
November 3, 2021 Naraka Chaturdashi	Banks in Karnataka will remain closed
November 4, 2021 Diwali Amavasya (Laxmi Pujan)/ Deepavali/Kali Puja	Banks in all states will be closed except Karnataka
November 5, 2021 Diwali (Bali Pratipada) Vikram Samvant New Year Day Govardhan Pooja	Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra
November 6, 2021 Bhai Duj/Chitragupt Jayanti/ Laxmi Puja/Deepawali/ Ningol Chakkouba	Banks will be closed in Sikkim, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh
November 7, 2021 Sunday	Banks across India will be closed
November 10, 2021 Chhath Puja (Sayan ardhya)	Banks will remain closed in Bihar and Jharkhand
