In one of the the biggest tech event of the year, Apple launched "
iPhone X" with a price stunning price tag of $999 at an Apple event on September 12 at its new campus in Silicon Valley.
The Apple also unveiled two new iPhone models -
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus - along with other products such as
Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple 4K TV.
BUY iPhone 8 | iPhone 8 Plus | iPhone XBUY Apple Watch Series 3The two iPhone 8 models are essentially an improved version of predecessor iPhone 7, while the "X" version has an improved quality edge-to-edge screen, advanced augmented reality capabilities, and facial recognition instead of a "home" button to unlock the screen.
The device is powered by a Quad core, 2.5 GHz processor paired with RAM up to 4GB. It has a battery capacity of 2,350 mAh. It also features a 12MP rear-facing camera with support for 4K video at 60 FPS and 1080p video at 240 FPS. As for the front shooter, the device houses 7MP camera with support for 1080p video at 30 FPS.
The Apple eventThe highly anticipated event started at 10am PDT (10:30PM in India) on September 12 and was held at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple's brand new Apple Park campus. The event was broadcast live at Apple's official website which users can access via any iOS device, Mac laptop/desktop (using Safari) or the Edge browser in Windows. This time, Apple was a bit curious, that's why it's not allowed the event to be streamed using the Chrome or Firefox web browsers. The even was also streaming live at Apple Events app for Apple TV.
