Apollo Pharmacy opens 5000th store

CHENNAI: Apollo Pharmacy, a leading omnichannel pharmacy retailer, opened its 5000th store in the country.


The new store has been opened at Perungudi in Chennai. It will offer services like audiology and optometry.

The pharmacy has a kiosk, where consumers can get vitals checked instantly, book a private video consultation with a doctor and order lab tests for home collection, according to a statement.

Shobana Kamineni, executive vice- chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, said, "Over 60 crore Indians today have physical access to an Apollo Pharmacy. We serve approximately seven lakh consumers every single day, a number we intend to take to 10 lakh in the future."
