"We have received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for our abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) Darifenacin extended-release tablets, 7.5 mg and 15 mg. The approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD) Enablex extended release tablets, 7.5 mg and 15 mg of Allergan Pharmaceuticals," a company statement said here. ************************* BARC India elects Nakul Chopra as Chairman *Mumbai, Dec 12 () Television rating agency Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India today said it has elected Publicis Communications' Senior Advisor Nakul Chopra as Chairman. Chopra, who succeeds Viacom18 Group Chief Executive Officer Sudhanshu Vats, is currently the President of Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI). He will be the third Chairman of BARC India and joined the BARC India Board in September 2016. ********************** Subhash Chandra launches accelerator to mentor Start-ups *Essel Group chairman, and Rajyasabha MP Subhash Chandra today announced the launch of an accelerator programme - Esselerator to mentor startups in media, entertainment, media technology and educational technology sectors. Chandra had launched a foundation and pledged Rs 5000 crore of his family wealth towards philanthropic initiatives of the Foundation. This initiative will be facilitated through the foundation, a statement said here. The programme will be powered by TiE Mumbai, a non-profit global community.
