AIEMA fair from June 21

Chennai: Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association announced the 13th edition of their machine tools exhibition from June 21 to June 25. ACMEE 2018 would be inaugurated by Suresh Prabhu, union minister of commerce and industry, O Panneerselvam, deputy chief minister, Tamil Nadu. Enterprises from 28 countries would participate in the expo, that would focus on robotics, industrial IOT and energy saving solutions, officials from the AIEMA added. “MOUs with the industry bodies in Korea and Taiwan External Trade Development Council have been signed and we expect to draw a revenue close to Rs 500 crore from this edition of the exhibition. The last edition saw revenue upto Rs 450 crore. Gauging the visitor registration, we expect over 50,000 visitors to the exhibtion,” ,” said K Ayyappan, chairman, ACMEE
