2020 Maruti Suzuki Ignis launched at Auto Expo

NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki India Limited on Friday unveiled the facelift Ignis hatchback at the Auto Expo. Pre-launch bookings have begun at Nexa showrooms.


The new Ignis gets a reworked front fascia with wide and tough rear appearance and high seating position. Adding to its SUV character are the striking rear spoiler, higher ground clearance and roof rails.

The new Ignis is offered with two new vibrant colours in addition to the existing colour palette - Lucent Orange and Turquoise Blue.

Interiors have been reworked, as it gets dual tone ivory interiors and seat fabric. Aligning with signature NEXA blue colour, a blue highlight adorns the centre console. The new Ignis comes with a 17.78cm SmartPlay studio. The new infotainment system can be connected to cloud, and offers features like live traffic and voice recognition.

The new Ignis is powered by peppy 1.2 litre BSVI compliant K-series petrol engine. Along with manual transmission, Ignis also gets auto gear shift for seamless driving experience.
