How to check PAN card details

PAN card is a government issued identification document used for various things for example, opening bank account, applying for loans, income tax filing etc. So, it important that you should know all the details update in your PAN card.

You can check your PAN card details through multiple avenues - for example:

1) Search by

PAN number

i) Visit the Search PAN website
ii) Enter your PAN number and then enter captcha
iii) Enter search to view your name, area code, jurisdiction, address and other information.

2) Search by Name and Date of Birth

i) Open the income tax website https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
ii) Click on "Know your PAN" tab
iii) Enter details such as name, status, gender, date of birth and mobile number
iv) Click on submit to get all your PAN card details
