Here is a step-by-step guide to help you link your Aadhaar card and PAN card with
LIC
policy:
1) Keep your Aadhaar Card, PAN card and list of policies handy. Also, your mobile number should be registered with UIDAI as an OTP will be sent to the number provided.
2) Go to the official website of
LIC of India
- https://www.licindia.in/ and find the "Link Aadhaar and PAN to Policy" link
3) Once you click it, a page with open with necessary instruction on how to link your PAN and Aadhaar to LIC policy. Read it carefully and click on "Proceed"
4) Once you click, a Form will open where you need to fill in the details such as - name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, gender, email ID, PAN number, UIDAI registered mobile number and the policy number.
5) Click on the declaration, enter Captch code and click "Get OTP"
6) An OTP will be sent to your mobile number for verification. Enter the OTP.
7) After submitting the OTP, a message will be shown on the success of the registration for linkage.
8) After verification with UIDAI, a confirmation will be sent to you via SMS or email. The verification may take few days.
