Tito needs a home
Tito was born in November in a bylane near Maratha Mandir, Mumbai Central. He was abandoned by his mother, who stopped feeding him because he was sick. Luckily, Tito, a puppy, was saved by a guardian angel — 16-year-old student of Cathedral School, Jamshed Cooper. Cooper, a dog lover and a volunteer with Welfare of Stray Dogs (WSD), came across Tito and took him home.

"I didn''t take him to the kennel because he was so sick and his condition could''ve worsened had he contracted an infection," says Cooper. These days, Tito is looking for a family to take him in as the Coopers have two dogs already. "I healed him, now it''s time for him to move on," says Cooper. When Cooper found him, Tito had a maggot wound on the forehead. "This was a learning experience as I''ve never done this before. Tito was on the verge of dying. I had to feed him with a syringe because a deworming drug adversely affected his liver. But he''s pulled through," says the 16-year-old. It''s been 7 months since Tito entered the Cooper household. "I tried placing Tito near his mother, but the other dogs bully him," says Cooper. "We keep Tito in the balcony because of our other dogs. He''s managed to find a cool spot under the plants to beat the heat." Tito isn''t picky about food either. "He eats both, vegetarian and non-vegetarian," said Cooper. Interested?
