There are no immediate plans for marriage, says Bipasha Basu who is determined to quit films once the knot is tied.
We heard that when news channel Times Now asked you a question, you flashed a ring at the camera, claiming you were 'hooked and booked'. Engagement?
No! That was only because they asked me whether I 'dated any Brazilian boys' during my Dhoom 2 schedule in Rio; and I said I was hooked and booked.
That doesn't mean I'm engaged. Even without a ring, I am booked.
It just means I have John in my life. Anyways, I am not getting married without telling you guys. You think if my wedding is planned, I won't call and tell you?
Bengali girls marry late and my parents are not pushing me into anything, so why should I? I'm very clear that after marriage I don't want to be an actor. Yes, I'll be with the film industry.
I'm not saying what I'll be doing because you'll catch me five years from now and tell me you said this five years ago!
Does the press de'press' you when they write about you breaking up?
There are also sections of the media who support us and write such lovely things. John and I are very straightforward and if something doesn't work, we'll not hide it. But until we don't do that I think people should just let us be.

I guess I may write someday.
