Richa Chadha to front new non-fiction travel and culture series
Actor Richa Chadha is set to expand her creative work with a new non-fiction series centred on travel, culture and lived experiences. The upcoming project marks her entry into the non-fiction space, focusing on people, places and everyday narratives from across India.
The series will explore cultural practices, regional histories and community stories, using travel as a lens to examine how tradition and contemporary life intersect. Chadha said the idea stems from her long-standing interest in observing and understanding cultures through direct engagement.
Speaking about the project, she noted that stories exist in ordinary lives and spaces, and that the series aims to approach them with curiosity and empathy. She also referred to earlier experiments with similar content during the second wave of COVID-19, which informed the development of the show.
Chadha was last seen expanding her creative portfolio with Girls Will Be Girls, which screened at multiple international film festivals.
