Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi collaborate on upcoming film track
Arijit Singh recently announced that he will step away from playback singing and will not be taking on new film projects going forward. The singer clarified, however, that several songs recorded earlier will continue to be released over time as part of upcoming film soundtracks.
One such release is part of the soundtrack of the upcoming film Bhoot Bangla, which stars Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi. The track also features Nikhita Gandhi, placing her among the singers whose collaborations with Arijit will surface after his announcement. In the film, Nikhita provides the female playback voice for Wamiqa Gabbi.
As previously recorded songs by Arijit Singh continue to be released, these projects are likely to draw attention from listeners and industry observers. For Nikhita Gandhi, the collaboration becomes another addition to her growing list of Bollywood credits during a moment of transition in the playback music landscape.
