Actor Gulshan Devaiah is feeling overwhelmed as his 2023 film 8 A.M. Metro is witnessing a fresh wave of appreciation on OTT. The intimate drama, which also stars Saiyami Kher and is directed by Raj Rachakonda, had a limited theatrical run but is now resonating strongly with viewers online.
Gulshan shared that the love pouring in from audiences feels “like a never-ending gift,” with many viewers writing to him about how deeply the film’s silences, relationships and emotional vulnerability touched them.
Calling it one of the most emotionally vulnerable performances of his career, the actor said the film’s quiet, melancholic storytelling reflects real connections that don’t always have perfect endings. He also noted that in today’s chaotic world, stories that embrace longing and vulnerability are more important than ever.
