Panchatantiram director KS Ravikumar who was in Planet M recently delivered some gyaan on superstars Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan. He is currently the director with the golden touch and his film Muthu made in 1995 is still a rage in Japan.
On Kamal versus Rajni.
Rajnikanth is an actor of the masses and Kamal Hassan of the classes. This is my third film with Kamal.They both have similar approach, every movie they both sign, they feel it is their first film. Followed by their dedication.
What makes a hit?
I make movies depending upon the current trend. I studied overseas management and when touring Far East countries on work, I got fascinated with the world of movies. I liked the captainship of the director so worked as an assistant director for 11 years. Puriyathu Pudiyal was my first film.
Panchatantiram is all set for a last week June release. In July he is starting his next film Villain starring Ajith.
When will you work with Rajni?
It is up to him. During the release function of Thenali there was talk about Kamal and Rajni doing a film together. It will be nice if that happens.
