Go jump, in tandem
Don''t have the guts to do it alone? Now hold someone''s hand as you bungee jump from a 125 ft high platform at the TVS Fiero Jumpstart. For the first time ever, Bangalore has the option of tandem jumping where you can bungee jump along with someone else, with just one cord holding you both.
"There are a lot of people who are scared of jumping alone.

They say, `I need someone to hold onto''. And you can understand that because we''re talking of jumping off from 125 feet," says Kiran Soans of Mercureal.
The event, which is being held at the Palace Grounds in association with Lipton Ice Tea and Spice, is coming to an end on November 24 and you can call 98442 72454 to book your turn.
Not one to miss out on this fabulous adventure opportunity, many of Bangalore''s youngsters have done their bit of experimenting too. While some have got engaged before literally taking the plunge, there are others who''ve used just one harness, instead of two. "Usually, people are harnessed around the waist and legs. We have these guys asking to be tied only around the waist and so it''s like they''re floating and not falling head down," says Soans.
Some have asked master jumper Jean Pascal to extend the length of the rope to make it more exciting, and scary! For the tandem jump, the cord is able to take a weight of 150 kg. "And if you''re scared to jump, tandem jumping is the best option. You feel great after that jump, it brings you together. I don''t think it''s something couples will forget for a while. And it''s surely better than a candlelight dinner."
Kiran says that on weekdays, they''ve averaged about 50 jumps and around 150 during weekends. "There''s one guy who jumps about five to 10 times a day. We also had a seven-year-old girl jumping."
