The Volvo XC90 is a seven-seater SUV that comes equipped with a Level 2 Autonomous driving function, available at a price of Rs 98.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2L petrol engine and an electric powertrain cumulatively generate 402 hp power and 640 Nm torque. The mild-hybrid variant with a 2L petrol engine churns out a peak power of 295 hp and a max torque of 420 Nm.
Priced between Rs 1.19 crore to Rs 1.21 crore (both prices are ex-showroom), the Mercedes-Benz GLS is powered by a 2925cc diesel engine, generating 326 hp power and 700 Nm torque. The second engine option is a 3982cc petrol engine that produces 550 hp power and 730 Nm torque. Both engines come mated with an automatic gearbox.
Available at a starting price of Rs 1.22 crore (ex-showroom), the BMW X7 is propelled by two engine options - a 335 hp/700 Nm 2993cc diesel and a 375 hp/520 Nm 2998cc petrol. Both engines come mated with an automatic transmission. The BMW X7 mileage is claimed to be around 11.29 kmpl to 14.31 kmpl.
The Audi Q8 is a five-seater premium SUV, available within a price range of Rs 1.06 crore to Rs 1.43 crore (both prices are ex-showroom). Under the hood, the Audi Q8 draws power from a 3L turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 335 hp of power and 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a Quattro All-Wheel-Drive system.
Equipped with Level 3 autonomous driving and ventilated front seats with massage function, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class price ranges from Rs 1.64 crore to Rs 1.73 crore (both prices are ex-showroom). Powering the S-Class is a 3.0-litre diesel engine that generates 282 bhp power and 600 Nm torque. The more powerful engine option is a 3.0-litre petrol engine with a hybrid set-up, producing a peak power of 383.5 hp and a max torque of 750 Nm.
Priced between Rs 84.70 lakh to Rs 92.30 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom), the Audi Q7 is available with two engine options - a 2995cc petrol and a 2995cc diesel. Both engines generate a peak power of 335 bhp power and a max torque of 500 Nm torque. The Audi Q7 is available in automatic transmission only.
Counted among the powerful luxury SUVs in India, the Land Rover Discovery is available at a price range of Rs 88.06 lakh to Rs 1.27 crore (ex-showroom). It is offered with two engine options - a 296 bhp/400 Nm 1997cc petrol and a 355 bhp/650 Nm 2996cc diesel. The SUV has a claimed top speed of 201-209 kmph.
