Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun

The Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun were the first vehicles to be assessed under the latest, more stringent norms set by the Global NCAP. The duo secured five stars for adult occupancy (29.64/34) and an additional five stars for child occupant protection (42/49).

Skoda Slavia, VW Virtus

Similarly, the Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus sedans also bagged an impressive five-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection, with scores of 29.71/34 and 42/49, respectively.

Tata Harrier, Safari

The 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari facelift models scored a perfect score of five stars in both adult and occupant protection categories, securing the highest-ever points of 33.05/34 for adult occupancy and 45/49 for child occupancy.

​The Mahindra Scorpio-N achieved a 5-star rating in the GNCAP tests with a score of 29.25/34 for adult occupant protection, while its child occupant protection received three stars with a score of 28.93/49.​

​The new Hyundai Verna received five-star safety rating from Global NCAP, encompassing both adult and child occupant protection. However, it's noteworthy that it is the only car with a 5-star rating with an unstable frontal body shell integrity, as outlined in GNCAP's report.​
