Top five best-selling two-wheeler companies in July 2023: Hero MotoCorp, and more

The Indian car market witnessed good sales in the month of July, however, the same is not true for the two-wheeler segment. In this article, we have compiled a list of the top five best-selling two-wheeler brands in the Indian market in July 2023.

Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp registed domestic sales of 371,204 units in July 2023, witnessing a Year-on-Year (YoY) sales decline of 13.8 percent. The company sold 430,684 units in the same period last year.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India

Domestic sales for Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) stood at 310,867 units last month, registering a YoY sales decline of 12.5 percent. The brand reported 355,560 unit sales in July 2022.

TVS Motor Company
TVS Motor Company saw 16.4 percent YoY sales decline with 235,230 units in July 2023. The company's domestic sales were reported at 201,942 units in the corresponding period previous year.

Bajaj Auto
The two-wheeler manuacturer reported sales of 141,990 units in July 2023, saw a YoY sales decline of 13.6 percent and MoM sales decline of 14.6 percent.


Suzuki Motorcycle India
Suzuki Motorcycle India witnesssed highest-ever monthly sales in July 2023 with 80,309 units. The brand recorded a double-digit YoY growth of 31.8 percent and 27.3 percent growth on an MoM basis.

Royal Enfield
With Hunter 350 in high demand, Royal Enfield saw a healthy domestic sales growth of 42 percent on YoY basis. The company sold 66,062 units in the Indian market in July 2023. However, the MoM sales decline by 2.1 percent.
