Former Renault and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) CEO Thierry Bollore has joined the advisory board of British electric vehicle supplier Bedeo as a strategic advisor, according to an announcement on Monday. Bedeo, known for manufacturing electric powertrains for Stellantis, the world's third-largest automaker, introduced a service in September to convert thousands of diesel vans into electric hybrids. The business initially targets the French market to leverage government subsidies for retrofitting fossil-fuel models.

Thierry Bollore, who served as CEO of Renault following the arrest of Carlos Ghosn in 2018, later assumed the role of CEO at Tata Motors' JLR unit. However, he stepped down in late 2022, citing personal reasons. Bollore expressed his anticipation in contributing his knowledge to Bedeo, supporting the company's mission to electrify transportation.

This move reflects Bollore's continued engagement in the electric vehicle sector and his commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions. Bedeo's initiative to convert diesel vans aligns with the broader industry trend toward electric mobility and environmental sustainability. Bollore's expertise in the automotive industry positions him as a valuable addition to Bedeo's advisory board as the company navigates the evolving landscape of electric vehicle technology and market dynamics.
