NEW DELHI:

Yamaha

Motor India has launched a

MotoGP limited edition

of its popular sports bike, the

YZF-R15

V 3.0, at Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The version gets a new livery which is inspired by the company's MotoGP race bike - the YZR-M1.


Available in the Yamaha Racing Blue colour, the edition gets M1 inspired graphics on the fairing, headlamp and the fuel tank. It also receives Yamaha's golden tuning fork emblem on the fuel tank.

The company is taking bookings for the limited edition model for a booking amount of Rs 10,000 and the expected delivery time is 40 to 55 days.

There is no mechanical change in the motorcycle and it continues to get 19.3PS of power from the 155cc VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) engine. The bike comes with features like LED split headlamp, wide 140 section rear tyre and slipper clutch among the others.



The company has also introduced two new colour options -- Darknight and Matt Green -- for the FSZ-FI's rear disc brake variant. Priced at Rs 87,042 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new colour options cost around Rs 1,000 more than the already existing Armada Blue colour. There is no mechanical change in the FZS-FI as well.
