Toyota launches Corolla Altis 2017 at a starting price of Rs 15.87 lakh

Toyota on Wednesday launched its new Corolla Altis sedan priced between Rs 15.87 lakh and Rs 19.91 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).The new Corolla Altis is available in two engine options- 1.8 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre diesel engine.

NEW DELHI: Toyota on Wednesday launched its new Corolla Altis sedan priced between Rs 15.87 lakh and Rs 19.91 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Corolla Altis is available in two engine options- 1.8 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre diesel engine, the company said in a statement.
The car is equipped with seven airbags, hill start assist control, vehicle stability control and an impact absorbing structure that adds to cabin rigidity and occupant safety, it added.

The petrol option is priced between Rs 15.87 lakh and Rs 19.91 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the diesel version's price ranges from Rs 17.36 lakh to Rs 19.05 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Commenting on the launch, Toyota Kirloskar Motor senior VP Akitoshi Takemura said: "We are certain that the new Corolla Altis will further add to customer delight and our customers will continue to appreciate the new product as it has been appreciated by more than 44 million happy customers worldwide."

The automaker added that over the years the Corolla Altis has emerged as one of the company's strongest products in India enabling it to strengthen position in the premium sedan segment.
