While keeping the same on-road capabilities of the HEXA, the new Downtown edition has been upgraded on the luxury front with a host of premium features for both exterior and interior.

Commenting on the launch, Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said that the company has introduced

Hexa

to offer its customers with an adrenaline pumped driving experience.

"The Hexa Downtown, as the name suggests is a vehicle inspired by the city life to match the customers’ charged urban lifestyle," he said.

He also told that with the new edition, Tata is sure to take forward its brand promise of offering customers aspirational products along with sheer value.

While there is no mechanical update in the car, the Hexa Downtown limited edition introduces up to 15 new features including a new ‘Urban Bronze’ colour. The added chrome garnishing across the body provides a more premium road presence while the tan leather seat covers provide a luxurious feel inside. The edition further gets a wireless charger, Blaupunkt rear seat entertainment player and Heads-Up Display (HUD) with Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) among the other key features.

While the Tata Hexa directly rivals the likes of the

Mahindra XUV500

, its beefed-up MPV like design and features make it a potential competitor of the

Toyota Innova

as well.
